Yesterday is history

Tomorrow is a mystery

Both of these will cease to have meaning once you start travelling in time.

You will only have the ever present now, dealing simply with whatever confronts you at each moment of time you are in. The future and the past will be irrelevant because you can change them, but you cannot change NOW except by what you do, think and say.

It is an alien way of thinking and I have tested it. There is great freedom in it, but a lot of what makes us what we are in modern society is tied up with our jobs, workmates, sports clubs, team mates, social club, friends and family.

All of these would be lost the moment you travelled in time. You could never relate in the same way that you do now. Using the multiple universe theory the first jump may anihilate everything you have ever known. That is unlikely as so many of the close universes are remarkably similar to our own and expectations play a great part in how we perceive the world today. If we expect the bus to be on time it is remarkable how often it will be. Most of us expect something else.

This is the end of weekend one allowing my mind to let some inner secrets out. Let's see how long it takes the men in black to seek out and destroy me.

Experience says it will not be long.
