Walk On

The wife has had her serious knee operation.

The daughter has completed her graduation and now has a degree certificate.

Maybe later this year or perhaps next I will find some time for me.

Still Around

I have nothing to say.

So I will say it anyway.

Work means that I am about as far from self actualisation as it is possible to be.

O.K. That is not quite true. I used to be even further away.

A million miles is closer than two million miles. I shall start walking.

Hospital

Dawn has to go to hospital today for a pre-operation preparatory class.

She has chosen me as her support so I have to go and learn stuff.

Gardening is not good in the rain

I had planned to make good progress on the garden project today. The weather has decided otherwise as we have had non stop rain. At least we have had a couple of days in the garden this year which is more than we managed last year.

The key to wealth is budgetting apparently.

That and planning.

Plan a budget that includes being rich at the end of the year and stick to it, so here goes.

INCOME: That is the problem
EXPENDITURE: House, Car, TV, Telephone, Water, Electric, Beer, Wine, Spirits.

Honestly cannot see how to save any money there.

So I need to increase my income, maybe I will sell my body. 20p up then.


Seriously, I will give it a go and see if the savings can grow from ZERO.

Post "End of the world" era

Hello everyone.

What happened?

The world was supposed to end on 21st December and it did not, well not for me anyway.

2013 has started well.

This new post end of the world era is pretty good to date.
